Zev Jiu Jitsu, part of Zev Martial Arts in Granbury, Texas, is a premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy founded by Alex Wolf. Alex has been training in Jiu-Jitsu since 2007 and holds multiple black belts across disciplines, bringing decades of dedication, technical mastery, and real-world insight to every class. Under his leadership, Zev has grown into a thriving, family-oriented community where students of all ages build confidence, resilience, fitness, and lifelong skills.

At Zev, safety and quality instruction come first. Every coach is fully qualified to teach, having completed a comprehensive instructors course to ensure consistent, effective teaching methods. All instructors undergo thorough background checks and maintain current certifications in CPR, Basic Life Support, and SafeSport—creating a secure, responsible environment for everyone, especially our youngest members who start as early as age 3.

The academy offers balanced training that bridges practical self-defense with competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you're learning to protect yourself and loved ones, sharpening techniques for the podium, improving physical conditioning, or simply becoming a stronger version of yourself, classes are structured for kids, teens, adults, and even women-only sessions. Zev fosters a supportive, no-ego atmosphere where rolling hard meets encouragement and growth.

The competition team is rapidly rising, regularly earning podium spots and team accolades. Our biggest achievement to date: claiming Best Team at the AGF Texas State Championship—a testament to the high-level instruction and hard work of our students and coaches.
